Changing Exhibit

We're proud to feature two changing exhibits each year. The first featured exhibit is on display March through June, followed by the second feature displayed July through October. During the months of November and December the home is decorated for the season. Christmas trees, lights and other holiday items are displayed. January and February the museum is closed for restoration.

Honoring our heritage during the mid 1800s PDF Print E-mail

The year of 2011 is the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War. We have highlighted Hendricks County, its participation and the many veterans of this war. The home life while family members were away is also featured. Letters from Aaron Hart and William Smith are featured as are other veteran letters. A widows and orphan book of the Civil War Veterans is on display. Families are invited to bring in letters (originals or copies) for the museum collection.
